About Tim, Owner
My journey as a Hair Stylist began over thirty years ago. Upon graduating from Long Island Beauty Academy I started working at Glemby in Huntington. After working there only about six months a salon owner from Manhattan saw my work and asked me to work for him. I worked in the city for many years in various salons; in mid-town, down by wall street and the lower east village. I did fashion styles for photographers and hair for NBC's soap opera Another World. Which is where I learned how to do make-up.
After leaving Manhattan I opened a salon with a friend in Montclair New Jersey before moving back to Long Island. My dream was to open a Manhattan style salon on Long Island with out the Manhattan prices. My goal is to help people see their true beauty inside as well as outside.
I have taken many classes with Tony and Guy, Jingles, Aquage, Rusk, Clairol, Framesi, and I became a master colorist with L'oreal. I have also taught classes in Updos, Haircutting, and how to work with ethnic hair.
